Unseen Forces: The Early Works of John Wehmer
Melissa Williams Fine Art
John Wehmer is a prominent St. Louis painter who was part of the avant-garde centered around Washington University in the 1950s and 60s. Much of the artist's work was stored away for over 40 years until dealer Melissa Williams convinced the artist to bring them back to light. This catalog was prepared for her exhibition in Columbia, Missouri in February of 2013 and we are happy to host a second venue for these magnificent paintings in our Chicago Gallery. Fully illustrated, 52 pages with an essay by Williams.
